Andreas M. Bräu

Andreas M. Bräuwas born in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. He has been working as a freelance author, actor and presenter for more than fifteen years. He was a long-standing ensemble member at the Kurtheater Garmisch-Partenkirchen, a permanent guest performer at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz and has appeared in numerous comedies on tour. In the meantime, he has expanded his portfolio to include readings and his own programs as a writer and journalist, as well as presenting and writing. Since studying German and history, he has been writing theater texts and blogs as well as presenting his own cabaret and stage shows. He is also involved in literary readings as an intersection between literature and (music) theater. Since 2016, he has also been teaching at a Munich grammar school with a focus on German, history, social studies and theater. Bräu lives in Munich and Garmisch.

Elisabeth HofmeisterBorn and raised in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Even as a 4-year-old, she acted out plays by Karl Valentin together with her brother and was a member of a theater group during her school years. In 1979, she joined the Kleines Theater in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where the “Great Karl Valentin Evening” was an integral part of the program for decades and was awarded the Weiß Ferdl Prize of the City of Munich in 1983.

Although the stage is her acting home, she has also appeared on Bavarian television with the Weiß-Blaue Geschichten. In Kundschelamant she appeared on stage together with Hermann Giefer.

She is also in demand for readings. She regularly reads “Die Heilige Nacht” by Ludwig Thoma at Christmas time. Together with her daughter Karolina, she presented the best of Lena Christ and a mother-daughter reading with texts and singing.

Elisabeth Hofmeister can still be seen today at the Kleines Theater in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In 2019, she celebrated her 40th stage anniversary there.

Venelin Filipov

Venelin Filipovbegan playing the piano in his native Bulgaria at the age of 5. Soon afterwards, he was accepted into a music high school and took part in numerous concerts both as a soloist and as a chamber musician until he graduated from high school. He then studied at the Academy of Music in Sofia with the well-known professor Milena Mollova. After graduating in 1995, he worked as a répétiteur at the opera in Stara Zagora (Bulgaria). Since 1998 he has performed in Germany in various concerts as a pianist and accompanist. He is also in demand as a pianist in various musical formations such as big bands, salon orchestras and musical productions. Between 2010 and 2016, he supplemented his training by studying conducting at the Tyrolean State Conservatory. Since then, he has also been active as a conductor in the field of contemporary music and has taken part in numerous concerts and festivals. He has led a piano class at the Garmisch-Partenkirchen Music School since 2003. In 2020, he also became a teacher at the Musikum in Salzburg.
