Phaeton Piano TrioWith Friedemann Eichhorn, Peter Hörr and Florian Uhlig, the Phaeton Piano Trio brings together three top German artists of international standing to form one of the most exciting piano trios on the international concert scene. The Phaeton Piano Trio has been a successful soloist on the major stages in Europe, overseas and Asia for more than twenty years and has already performed in major European music capitals. After their South American debut at the Fundación Beethoven, Santiago de Chile, the trio celebrated another debut in the USA in 2020 with concerts at the Library of Congress in Washington and the Frick Collection in New York. In 2023, the Phaeton Piano Trio made another guest appearance in the USA and debuted in Canada as “Ensemble in Residence” at the renowned “Music and Beyond” festival in Ottawa. In the 24/25 season, the Phaeton Piano Trio will return to Ottawa and perform at important festivals in Germany (Mozartfest Würzburg, Richard-Strauss-Tage Garmisch-Partenkirchen and others), again in the USA and for the first time in China. In addition, two CD recordings for the hänssler classic label in co-production with SWR are pending, including the complete recording of works for piano trio by Camille Saint-Saens.
