Ladies and Gentlemen!
Alexander Liebreich who was appointed artistic director of the Richard-Strauss-Festival announced the festival’s program in December 2017. He invited prestigious orchestras such as the Vienna Symphony, exciting ensembles like Franui and renowned soloists like Lisa Batiashvili. Moreover, there will be something new: music on top of the Wank that rises up to 1.780 metres, concerts in the Werdenfels auditorium and open air concerts in the patio of Ettal Abbey. The festival 2018 will take place from June 22nd to Juli 1st 2018 under the slogan METAMORPHOSES.
